The 2011-2012 school year at APNTS has newly begun with the enrollment of a diverse group of nearly 25 new students from 7 different different world areas. Among this group are a number of new nationalities including students from Mongolia, Russia, and Colombia as well as another from Peru who will be joining for the school’s second semester.
With the first classes beginning on Monday, July 4, registration week has been both busy and exciting as new students have arrived and settled in to the APNTS Campus. Several of the week’s activities have included orientations to academics, educational financing, and residential life at the school, as well as an important session for all new students on intercultural living and culture shock.
As a distinctively international graduate institution, a degree at APNTS entails a significant amount of cultural immersion and adaptability. Living and interacting within the APNTS campus provides a diverse context which serves as a practical training ground for cross-cultural ministry. This facet has been greatly advantageous for the school’s degree concentrations in missions and intercultural studies.
As orientation week draws to a close and classes begin, APNTS shows promising growth and new diversity as it holds to its motto of “Bridging Cultures for Christ.”
