APNTS has been blessed by the extraordinary knowledge and skills of Dr. Keith Killen in his service to the seminary. APNTS and Keith have enjoyed a long relationship going back to when he began serving as a Mission Corps volunteer. In more recent years, Keith has served APNTS as the managing partner of the APNTS Partnership and has assisted greatly in the areas of meeting facilitation and strategic planning, along with guiding APNTS in a 5-year planning program.
APNTS President, Dr. Bruce Oldham states, “Keith Killen has been a ‘gift’ from God to APNTS during these past several months. We have benefitted from his business insight, his pastoral mindset, his knowledge of Asian culture, and his strategic thinking during this year of service, and are so grateful that he is giving us four months on campus (three visits of six weeks each) and consultation by email and Skype when in the USA, to help us with our current challenges. He has become not only a trusted Christian colleague but also a great friend to me personally, and to others on campus with whom he has worked.”
Keith was previously a Project Manager for DuPont, and also served as the Administrations Pastor at Shelter Community Church of the Nazarene in Kettering, Ohio, U.S.A. He was also ordained as an elder on the South West Ohio district, and in December 2015, he received a doctorate in Biblical Studies and Biblical Leadership from the Master’s International University of Divinity. In his spare time, Dr. Killen enjoys fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Keith Killen is a prime example of a servant using the gifts he has to serve others and is a faithful steward of God’s grace. It is a privilege to partner with Keith in serving the Lord.
