Dates: October 24–25, 2025
Location: Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS)

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Claire Chong
The Theology of Home symposium invites scholars, students, and ministry leaders to explore the dynamic relationship between cultural identity and Christian discipleship in Asia-Pacific contexts. The event centers on the theme:
“The Role of Asia-Pacific Christians in Reconciling Home Cultures and Christian Identities.”
Many believers in majority world settings experience tension between their cultural heritage and their faith. This symposium provides a space for theological reflection and interdisciplinary dialogue on how the concept of “home” influences spiritual formation, ecclesial life, and mission.
Through keynote addresses, academic presentations, and collaborative discussions, participants will engage with questions such as:
What does “home” mean in a theological and cultural sense?
How do Christians navigate the complexities of cultural loyalty and spiritual transformation?
In what ways can cultural identity enrich Christian witness and community?
Join us at APNTS as we seek to understand and articulate a theology of home that is both faithful and contextually rooted.
