December 5, 2025 – Quezon City, Philippines Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) joyfully announces that it has received the Welcome Citation as a New Accredited Institution in Region IV from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).

The award was conferred today during the celebration of PACUCOA’s 52nd Founding Anniversary and 36th Annual General Assembly, held at Novotel Manila Araneta City, Quezon City. This recognition affirms APNTS’s commitment to academic excellence and its mission of equipping leaders for transformational ministry across the Asia-Pacific region.

Although APNTS President Dr. Larry T. Bollinger was unable to attend due to international travel, the seminary was ably represented by Dr. Marie Joy Pring-Faraz, Academic Dean, and Dr. Nativity Petallar, Associate Dean, who received the award on behalf of the institution.

APNTS extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. David Ackerman, whose leadership in preparing and submitting the initial accreditation documents to PACUCOA was instrumental in achieving this milestone. His dedication and careful guidance ensured that the seminary successfully met the requirements for accreditation.

In his message to PACUCOA, Dr. Bollinger expressed deep appreciation:
“We sincerely thank you for this recognition and for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful occasion. Kindly note that my absence in no way lessens the joy and honor we feel for this recognition.”

This award marks a significant step forward for APNTS as it continues to strengthen its academic programs and expand its impact in theological education. The seminary looks forward to further collaboration with PACUCOA in advancing quality standards in higher education.

To God be the glory!
