APNTS OPENS ITS GATES FOR “FOUNDATION DAY”
Under a canopy of music and lights, APNTS celebrated it’s “Foundation Day.” This day marks 27th years since the schools founding in Taytay, Rizal. The celebration served as the highlight of a three-day anniversary celebration. The school opened it’s gates the to the surrounding communities of the Kaytikling area, providing an memorable evening of entertainment and fellowship for everyone in attendance.
An estimated 600 people flooded the APNTS campus, to share in the festivities. Lights, booths and displays lined the campus lawn, providing food and recreation which lasted late into the night.
Headlining the evening was “Christians Got Talent,” the namesake of the popular TV competition, which showcased talents from local churches and other christian groups. Dance groups, drama teams, and bands battled for the grand case-prize of 15,000php. The winning group was a group from Antipolo First Church of the Nazarene which provided an innovative and fascinating musical arrangement using only bottles and water glasses.
Alongside of the competition were musical performances special cultural presentations from the various culture groups from the school. The evening ended with special musical performances from “NaCls”, “Selah” and others.
This is the third year for the school to celebrate “Foundation Day.” It is held as a community celebration for APNTS and all of its surrounding neighbors and represents the schools passion and initiative to maintain a meaningful presence in the lives of its surrounding communities.
