The beginning of a new school year is always an exciting process, and this year is no different. It is always an honor to welcome new faces to the campus, and a joy to greet those returning. Marking the official opening of the 2018-19 school year, APNTS President, Dr. Bruce Oldham, shared his message with students, faculty, staff and guests at the Opening Convocation and Chapel service this week. Chaplain Rev. Sherry Shmidt began our time together by announcing the theme of this year’s chapel services – Keeping Your Eyes on Jesus.

Dr. Oldham’s message titled “Focus & Faith” was based on Hebrews 12:1-3, with a reminder to “keep your eyes on where you are going and believe that you can make it.” We were encouraged in how to successfully run the race of life during the challenges faced in daily living.

Registration for new and returning students and new student Orientation had taken place the week prior, followed by a Fun Day sponsored by the Student Body Organization (SBO). Games and activities involving students, faculty, and families were enjoyed, along with lunch.

We look forward with anticipation to what God has in store for APNTS this year!
