A shipment containing about 2,000 volumes of books arrived at APNTS on November 6. They are donated from Singapore by Dr. Johnson Lim, who chose to support APNTS’ mission to equip ministers in Asia. The donation contains volumes that cover both academic and practical subjects. According to Johnson, APNTS has been chosen “by divine providence.” He elaborated in his September e-mail: “This morning your country comes to mind. When I googled, your seminary appears first in the list of other seminaries (in alphabetical order). When I saw that you have English courses and graduate and postgraduate courses, I became excited because the books that I have will help them.”
Dr Johnson also funded the shipping of the books and other related expenses. The 198 boxes are now being prepared by the library to be catalogued. APNTS is thankful for partners worldwide in equipping men and women for excellence in ministries.
